Finding My Voice Through Art

My Quiet Love for Drawing

For the friends who know me, you might have received some cards or drawings from me or seen pictures of drawings that I’ve shared on social media. I have loved drawing since I was a little kid, just like many others all over the world. I completely understand how small I am in the art world, surrounded by so many amazing artists who have put in years of effort to become incredible at what they do. From creativity and mastering painting skills to consistently sharing their artwork, I truly admire them and hope to get a bit closer to their level.

Too Many Loves, Too Little Focus

I love drawing everything—landscapes, anime characters, portraits, animals, and more. I couldn’t decide on a specific theme or topic to focus on and become the best at because, honestly, I was all over the place.

When Art Found Its Purpose

That changed last year when my volunteer experience at the animal shelter made me realize that I wanted to help shelter animals get adopted in any way possible. That’s when I started painting shelter animals, hoping to get them more attention.

From Dog Lover to Animal Artist

As a proud owner of three German Shepherds, I love dogs and pets very much and have always been a big fan of animals. That was my wake-up moment—I finally heard my true voice. I want to focus on creating animal art!

In 2023, I built my website, but it failed terribly because I found the platform a bit difficult to use. I also didn’t realize how much effort it would take to promote the website and let people know it existed. One of the biggest challenges was getting help from the internet and friends to make sure what I wrote on the pages was well-written in English. It was difficult and frustrating because English is my second language. I learned my lesson, and this time I am making changes. I switched to a different platform to build my website, and thanks to the AI era, ChatGPT now helps me correct my grammar and guides me on how to overcome the tiny challenges I face.

Success or Not, This Dream Is Mine

We often hear people talk about the “American Dream” in the news or movies. I’m not sure how you feel about it, but to me, it means being in an environment where people appreciate the beauty of art and handmade designs, having the ability to create something I love, and working to make it a real business of my own. Whether it’s successful or not, this is my American Dream.
